Take the military and lots of regular jobs for example. They have an enviornment that requires you to sit there, listen to directions, follow them, and always do what you're told. They also create a set of systems you must follow, that you cannot stray away from. These systems are usually necessary, but when it comes to personal mental development, they can be limiting. So what kind of enviornments are great to help someones mind blossom, and allow them to think and learn things easily?
Let someone use their imagination. Don't restrict it. That was the problem where our children use to attend public schools at. The teacher forced the students to do as she wanted and wouldn't let them and their imaginations go.
I've been drawing successfully for over 30 years this way. Now, our children are far better at their ages than I ever was. I am indeed proud of them.

Put yourself into a real desperate position/condition.
That's one place where your brain has to work and be creative.
You will see lots of things you could not do before in such position, but you can by being creative.
You also will find lots of ideas coming from real little things which you ignored before.
This is just to be creative but not yet mean to be successfull.
That place can be in the real bottom place or real on top. No different.
Put yourself into a real "starvation" of something.
If you just cut and paste your life, you eventually get frustrated, especially when you are still young.
Once you get old and you have enough expereinces,(>70) it's different, beside which physically you are limited any way, so at that time cut and paste is almost all you can do.
i.e.
I found doctors in rural areas, with so limited equipments and medicines, could heal/help so many patients. They're so innovative.
Also mechanics, they can make something from almost nothing.
So, whilst you are in a well advanced country, think of something new to invent which will be needed by lots of people .
Look at Bill Gates.
Or in fashion, I remember Liz Clairborne, while every body were busy creating masculine dresses for working ladies or houte couture for the haves, she created something simple but elegant , which you can wear after office hour going to the supermarket and it appeals to lots of people and she became a multimillioner woman.
What about Harry Potter stories ?? Body Shop?
What about Anthony Robbins?
They wrote or find something people like. It's all BS actually , but …it works.
Look at Madonna??
I am trying to find something for myself. I am too lazy these days.

Ask the question you just asked…and seriously?…When
I am in a position where someone trusts me, or I have been delegated authority, I always try and give people choice, so when I make a suggestion, I try to offer two approaches (what to do, where to go , what to eat, solving a problem), and offer the listener a choice, or have them offer up a third possibility. Real success is often the result of compromise.
I value others taking some part in the decision making. Sharing the credit. Harmonizing. Is that creative enough for the big ten?
