Schooling for both is relatively short compared to a bachelors degree, so completing training for both would be a very good balance combination. Working in the food industry is a high-stress, time-pressured, highly critiqued career that focusses on serving the masses. Staying in the food world full time may lead to burn-out pretty quick. Competitors typically are not very nice to one another either. However, on the flip side, massage therapy is typically a slower paced, relaxing atmosphere that focusses on an individual. Maintaining balance by working part-time with both careers could eventually lead you into a one-of-a-kind combination of the two. You could develop a culinary spa/retreat for specialized clientele. There are cuisines that cater meals to the overall health of specific body types. Combining proper food choices and massage/spa choices that caters to each individual will undoubtedly be something others will talk about.
